                                                          We are looking for a New Hire Specialist to join our team

The New Hire Specialist handles all administrative tasks related to the new hire paperwork process. This includes the review of an accurate Form I-9, E-Verify, running current background screenings and drug testing.

This position will serve as the first point of contact for the new hire paperwork as it relates to the process. This position requires a self-starter with proven interpersonal and problem-solving skills combined with demonstrated ability to communicate (both in written format and verbal) with multiple levels within the organization.

 

 Ideal candidate should possess the following skills:

  • Some Human Resource experience with an emphasis in new hire processing and orientation preferred.
  • Intermediate skills in technology based HR systems is preferred.
  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a must.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and written.
  • Must be willing to work in a very fast paced environment while being efficient, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Must be available to work overtime and/or weekend as needed.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Verification of accurate and complete new hire paperwork package

  • Assists in employee screening process
  • Checks for accurate Form I-9s
  • Processes background screenings
  • Processes and follows up on drug testing
  • Assists in initiating E-verify
  • Verifies that the new hire paperwork is complete and in order to submit to the payroll department for an employee ID Number
  • Serve as the first point of contact for the new hire paperwork as it relates to those new hires that are in process
  • Promotes equal opportunity and a diverse work environment
  • Assists on other special projects as needed

SUMMARY:Provide the day to day to support to ensure quality and satisfaction to field managers and employees.

  • Provide superior customer service skills
  • Effectively manage large amounts of incoming emails
  • Monitor/address general emails received with relation to assigned job duties in a timely fashion
  • Create, update and maintain spreadsheets
  • Critical thinking/Problem solving
  • Timekeeping of custodial employee time sheets
  • Time managed attendance reporting

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES: Special skill knowledge and pertinent techniques to work assignment involving:

  • Customer service experience preferred.
  • Computer skills, including Microsoft products and JD Edwards.
  • Proficient with Excel. Able to create, manage and update spreadsheets.
  • Well organized and ability to manager multiple priorities on a daily basis.
  • Work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Initiative, attention to detail.
  • Thoroughness, dependability, tact and courtesy; ability to work in a team environment
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus but not a requirement.

Compensation:

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide high level of customer service and account management to stores in an assigned territory, taking all action necessary to ensure completion of required work, according to contract scope, company policy and direction of District Manager
  • Effectively manage and train work crews (including Area Supervisors/Leads) assigned to various locations, and take all action(s) necessary to keep proper staffing, including but not limited to advertising, training, budgeting, scheduling and discipline/discharge all employees
  • Complete and submit all required paperwork, including but not limited to quality reports, sign-offs, summary sheets, schedules and timesheets from time management
  • Regularly communicate with District Manager to keep him/her up to date on status of accounts; as well as communicate with store managers on scope of work
  • Timely share information with District Manager and corporate office personnel regarding all work related injuries, claims of discrimination, harassment and other human resource matters; properly complete accident investigation report and forward to the District Manager within 2 hours
  • Oversee the completion and timely submission of all new hire employee paperwork (and compliance required documents), including an accurate I9 form and state tax withholding form; obtains Employee ID# prior to starting a new employee
  • Ensure that all needed supplies and necessary equipment, are available and in working condition for assigned
  • Knows and follows all safety rules and proper procedures associated with the responsibilities of the OSHA
  • Generate new sale opportunities while developing partnerships with local accounts
  • Properly maintain and account for any equipment assigned
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Overtime required, including weekends and holidays
  • Performs other work related duties as

Transition Specialist

Summary

The Transition Specialist plays an integral role in our Business Deployment team by facilitating start ups with new customers around the Unites States. Through continual evaluation and improvement, the Transition Specialist helps the company start newly acquired accounts on the right foot, and sets the operations team up for success.

Job Duties

  • Recruits hourly and salaried employees to fulfill staffing requirements specified in the respective contracts
  • Creates cleaning procedures and outlines operational day to day tasks for each account
  • Creates processes and procedures for each location and ensures follow through with management and hourly staff
  •  Trains management on standard operating procedures, cleaning methods, and general account knowledge
  • Orders all supplies and chemicals required for account start up

Job Requirements

2-3 years of operational experience in the janitorial industry required. Bachelors degree or higher preferred. Must be comfortable with a very large amount of travel, and be located near a major airport. Must be detail oriented, process driven, and proactive.

SUMMARY: This position provides all aspects of management and oversight for assigned facilities within a geographic area.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily. Qualified personnel should possess a high school degree or equivalent, additional technical training in a related trade and several years of account management experience.   • Floor care or janitorial management experience
  • Carpet care and cleaning; stripping/cleaning/buffing of floor types; floor care chemicals; operation of floor care equipment.

  • General knowledge of computer software.
  • Effective communicator with customers, as well as with internal corporate personnel.
  • Organized, proven problem solving abilities, and ability to multi-task, prioritize job responsibilities

  • Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) a plus (depending on account).

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: This job may require lifting of objects that exceed 50lbs., with frequent lifting and or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs. Other physical demands that are required are, reaching, climbing, stooping and or kneeling, lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling, writing and seeing.

LICENSURE: Must possess a valid state driver’s license in order to fulfill the duties of this position, as significant travel between accounts is required. Reliable transportation to allow for necessary travel to various accounts within the assigned territory is required.

Job Title: Custodian
Reports To: Area Manager

Summary: Performs a variety of cleaning and floor care duties at commercial, retail and/or industrial facilities. Follows the scope of services as outlined by the customer, as scheduled by the Area Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintains and cleans all floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
  • Collects and disposes of paper and rubbish.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and other objects
  • Cleans, monitors and maintains restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors, store entrance areas, and escalators.
  • Empties trash receptacles for proper disposal; use of compactor for certain materials
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaners and equipment
  • Spot clean carpets; assist in carpet extractions and shampooing
  • Replenishes paper products and sanitary supplies.
  • Assist with the removal and spreading of deicing products at all store entranceways and sidewalks; shoveling as required.
  • Follows housekeeping schedule outlined by the immediate supervisor.
  • Use of heavy cleaning equipment, such as floor scrubbers, burnishes, backpack vacuums and buffers. Some locations may require power washers to clean sidewalks and entrance areas.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as required by the scope of work or customer needs.

  • Maintains and cleans all floor surfaces, within scope of services and direction of Area Manager; responds to housekeeping requests for service
  • Sweeps, mops and cleans and maintains restrooms, fitting rooms, corridors and entrance areas; vacuum carpeted areas.
  • Cleans and polishes lavatory bowls, basins and plumbing fixtures.
  • Restocks paper products & soap supplies
  • Empties trash receptacles for proper disposal.
  • Cleans both the top and bottom tracks of escalators.
  • Assist with snow removal and spreading of deicing products for all entranceways and sidewalks.
  • Follows custodial time schedule outlined by the immediate supervisor.
  • Performs other work related duties as assigned.
